Integration

Your Files Stay Where They Are

Your firm already has thousands of files organized in OneDrive or SharePoint. Working papers, engagement letters, CRA correspondence — all neatly filed away. Why upload them again? Connect once and access everything from MyCPACRM.

How It Works

Three Steps. Zero Migration.

1

Connect in One Click

Go to Settings, click Connect Microsoft Account, sign in with OAuth. Your entire OneDrive or SharePoint library is accessible. Admin-only, secure.

2

Link Folders to Clients

Open any client, browse your existing folder structure, select their folder. A one-click button opens it directly in OneDrive. Link at filing level too.

3

Browse & Reference Files

Browse OneDrive files from any client record. Link individual files with categories and fiscal years. Metadata stays synced. Click to open in the cloud.

Feature Deep Dive

Everything Stays Connected

Your OneDrive and SharePoint files, seamlessly linked to your practice management workflow.

One-Click OAuth Connection

Connect your Microsoft 365 account with a single sign-in. See connection status, provider info, and sync health at a glance. Admin-controlled.

Client Folder Linking

Link a OneDrive folder to any client. Click to open it directly in OneDrive — no navigating through folder trees. Your existing organization stays intact.

Filing-Level Folders

Link separate folders for each filing type. Corp T2 gets its own folder, Payroll gets another. Each opens directly to the right place.

File Browsing & Linking

Browse your OneDrive right from MyCPACRM. Search by name, select multiple files, assign categories and fiscal years. Files stay in OneDrive — metadata lives in MyCPACRM.

QuickBooks Auto-Detection

When you link a client folder, MyCPACRM scans for QuickBooks files — .qbw, .qbb, .qbm, .qbx, .qbo. They show up in a dedicated card on the client record automatically.

Unified File View

OneDrive files appear alongside uploaded documents everywhere — Document Manager, filing details, collaboration threads. A cloud icon distinguishes linked from uploaded. Filter by source.
